WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

I have many different outfits for every day and on special occasions, but from all of them, my favourite is the one dress which recently my mother bought for me for a wedding function. It is in peach colour with golden embroidery on it, and an Indian traditional dress for occasions like marriages. I also bought matching jewellery with the dress such as earrings and bangles. As I told you my mother bought it for me for a wedding party so the first time I wore it on my sister-in-law’s brother’s marriage. On the wedding day when I wore the dress, everyone gave me compliments. They told me that I was looking stunning like a Barbie doll because the dress is very fluffy like the dresses of the Barbie doll. I feel very good when I received so many compliments from my relatives and my friends. So, at that time, I replied to all with a big smile. I also took many photographs on my phone with my sister-in-law and my mother. Now I decided to wear this on my friend’s marriage, which will be held on next month. So this is my favourite outfit.
