Some people think that activities during the free-time should be planned while others disagree.
Discuss both sides and include examples and relevant data from your own experience.
It is argued by some people that leisure activities should be planned before doing, however, others believe that there is no need to do this. While planning things before doing aid in managing spare time efficiently, I believe that people should enjoy this time without having any kind of stress.
On the one hand, some believe that planning tasks, which they intend to do in the free-time, helps in managing their time. This is because in this hectic schedule, everyone has very less free-time and they want to make the most out of it, which can only be possible if everything is planned and well-structured. For example, Cambridge University has found in a recent study that people who use some kind of task management apps to manage their free time are 48% more productive and efficient as compared to people who do not use.
On the other hand, some believe that there is no need for any planning because this free-time is only to enjoy. In other words, they think that this is the only time when they can do whatever they want with their loved ones, which rejuvenates them and therefore, planning this could spoil the whole curiosity. Personally, I relish spending my spare time with my family without any schedule because it helps me to enjoy without having the stress of time management. I believe this school of thought is preferable because in this fast-paced life this is the only time when one can enjoy without having proper planning.
In conclusion, although planning tasks helps in utilising the spare time efficiently, I believe enjoying the free-time without taking the stress of management is more important and therefore, it is better to do whatever makes you feel relax.
