It is often said that government spend too much money on projects to protect wildlife, while there are other problems that are more important.
Do you agree or disagree?
It is argued that the states expend too many financial resources on wildlife protection initiatives, however, there are so many other important issues to spend money. This essay agrees with this statement because people are losing their life due to hunger and the health infrastructure should be given priority.
The main reason why spending more money on wildlife projects is not worthy because there are so many people around the world who die due to starvation. This is because they do not have enough money to feed their families. Therefore, a significant amount of annual budget should be spent save people from dying. To illustrate, a recent study by Cambridge University found that nearly 5% of the world’s population fall asleep without dinner and this starvation had resulted in the maximum rate of death among these people.
Another reason behind this is that in most countries healthcare system in most countries is underfunded. Due to this, in government-run hospitals do not have staff and equipment. This results in losing peoples’ lives because of bad facilities at government hospitals. For example, in South African countries, spending on the healthcare system is only 3% of their annual financial budgets which leads to having a low-quality infrastructure at state-owned medical facilities.
In conclusion, expenditure on other much-needed things should be increased because many individuals are suffering from hunger and government-run medical facilities are not provided with enough financial resources to treat people.
