WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

History of any country has an important role to play because it is a significant source of inspiration and knowledge for the upcoming generation. History is my favourite subject, but there are some events which inspired me a lot. Here, I would like to talk about the freedom movement of youngsters of Punjab Bhagat Singh, Kartar Singh Sarabha, Chandrashekhar Azad, Rajguru and Sukhdev. This movement has occurred in the first half of the 20th century. Actually, I studied about some events in 10th standard, but now I would like you to learn about more because this movement gives the motivation to me to fight against wrong people. This movement highlights the bravery of Punjab’s Youth. These young freedom fighters uprooted the roots of British Empire. My grandfather told me that Bhagat Singh was only just 23 years old when the British Empire hung him with his two companions, Sukhdev and Rajguru. As a result of this, India got freedom in 1947. On 23rd march several functions are organised in India especially, in Punjab, to record the memories of those freedom fighters. I would like to know more about that historical time I am planning to go to the library from where I shall borrow books of these martyrs biography. I shall do it as soon as possible.
