WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.
Talk about a time when you gave advice to someone.

Sample 1:
Well, I don’t believe in giving free and unwanted advice to people. Having said that, being an altruistic and philanthropic person, I do help people with advice whenever asked. I think it symbolises your care and concern for the concerned person.
Not to brag, but I have given some amazing pieces of advice to some people who have benefited immensely from them. One such advice that I remember vividly is the one that I gave to my younger brother 3 years back. The incident goes like this, he graduated around 5 years back from a reputed college in Mumbai, but was still stuck at a mediocre job for 2 years after that. Upon close observation, I realised that he was getting disheartened to see his dreams and ambitions remain unfulfilled even after working exceptionally hard.
So, one day I decided to have a heart to heart chat with him and advised him on pursuing his MBA , which would propel his career graph to a zenith. I even suggested some colleges which would even assist him with the tiresome task of procuring a placement at a reputed and good firm. Luckily, he took my advice seriously and last year graduated from his MBA college with flying colours. Consequently, he secured an excellent job with lots of perks at a reputed organisation, making my entire family and me beam with joy.
As a symbol of gratitude, he even offered me his first salary which made me the happiest I had ever been in my entire life.

I do not like to give advice to many people because it is a matter of life for someone. I would like to talk about when I gave advice to my friend Pardeep because his brother wanted to setup on business but he was did unsure about what type of word should start so because of my background from Kalpa and I told him that he can open eCommerce store because it is a new fundamental it is a new technology that can be implemented in today’s life because if we see that most of the people like to buy online and there is not going to be invest too much on the on this project it with thousand thousand rupees you can start this company and then I discussed with him the budget and what are the different issues and what are the strategies that need to have this business after that I also discussed about the future prospect of this business as I told you that in future everything is going to be sold online because of in India online selling star anthem who is Coin in this field at very start and his going to win this competition and after that my friend was very thankful for me for giving advice about setting up this business and he was looking forward to run it and make it successful and he was very happy after having this conversation
