- What kind of trees do people usually plant in your country? How about your hometown?
Well, India being a country replete with biodiversity and climatic diversity, is home some very distinct species of trees and plantations. Especially in my hometown Chennai, we find lots of coconut and Ashoka trees. Some other popular varieties include Indian tulip, mahogany, sandalwood, etc.

- Have you ever planted trees?
Yes, indeed. Being a big fan of flora and vegetation, I pursue gardening as my hobby. There are tonnes of trees, shrubs and flowering plants planted by me in the backyard and balcony of my house. Some of the peculiar ones being neem, tulsi, roses, marigold, daffodils, etc.

As I love flowers, I usually prefer flowering trees and shrubs. I have even transformed my bedroom balcony into a flower garden with lots of rose, marigold, jasmine and daffodil shrubs. I even have a big Tulsi plant in the courtyard of my house

Oh, absolutely. As I said earlier, I am an environment enthusiast, I actively practice gardening. In my opinion, other people should also take up this initiative as it will press pollution leading to healthier cities and environments, whereby, improving our physical and mental strength.
