WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

Well, India is a land of diversities and the same applies to it’s weather as well. India experiences a range of weather at different places throughout the year. Having said that, the three main seasons constitute the monsoon, winter and summer. Of all these, my personally favored one would be winter.
As I reside in the Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh in the city of Mandi, I experience winters that are truly magical. It spans for 3-4 months here, commencing in October and concluding in January end. Firstly, since the monsoons are pretty warm and humid there, the winter brings the much awaited respite from the uncomfortable rains for people like me. The weather gets delightful and pleasant with all the snow and wind around. Moreover, I get to flaunt my excellent collection in woolen fashion. Besides, it snows a lot there, which literally envelops the roads and adjoining houses in snow.
Nowadays, scorching sun and heat waves are becoming a menace in different parts of India due to Global warming, so a winter like that is a huge blessing in disguise for the affected population. Furthermore, the gardens and the farms along with the mountainous background feel very mystical and enchanting. So, I eagerly await the onset of winter every year.
