• Well, receiving feedback from others for their efforts acts as encouragement for people.
• Here, I would like to talk about a time when I did some charity work for which I got positive feedback.
• Actually, I know a person called Mr. Arora, who helps other people in his leisure time.
• He is basically a university professor and he is in his early thirties.
• After his working hours, he utilizes his time for the welfare of society.
• He runs an NGO named ‘Blessing Foundation’, which provides support to poor students and shelters for homeless people.
• Last year, I got the opportunity to do some voluntary work with him, as I was free due to the summer holidays.
• I, along with 6 individuals including Mr. Arora, went to a school in a village in Himachal Pradesh.
• I was given the task to teach basic computers to the school kids using my laptop, and other participants were also assigned as per their abilities.
• Initially, I gave them a basic introduction about the types of work usage of computers.
• Then, I gave them some training regarding MS word and excel, so they could easily make their assignments.
• I must say it was the first time I was utilizing my vacations in this way.
• We spent almost 10 days there and we really enjoyed our time.
• After ten days, when students were given small tests to evaluate their progress, fortunately all of my students scored good marks.
• Due to this, everyone, including the school principal, appreciated my efforts and way of teaching.
• I have to say I got some peace of mind and inner satisfaction by doing this voluntary work.
• So, that was the time when I got some positive feedback.
