Describe a place(/person/home) you like to visit but you don’t want to live there?
-
What place is it
-
When do you visit that place
-
How you feel about it
-
Why you don’t want to live there
Being a travel freak, I love exploring different places and cultures. Having said that, I also believe that the comfort and content that one experiences at home cannot be gained somewhere else.
On a similar note, I adore meeting my sister who resides in Denver, USA but I would not want to settle there permanently. I make it a point to visit her once every year. It’s a delightful place to visit in winter as it’s fully enveloped in snow. Moreover, being an excellent cook, my sister cooks some amazing Indian cuisines for me. Not only do we go out shopping, but also for adventure sports. The city boasts of an amazing collection of supermarkets and malls comprising speciality markets, electronics stores, and clothing outlets. The collection is excellent with respect to Indian taste. The city also has an array of Indian restaurants with some lip-smacking dishes proving to be a paradise for Indian food lovers. Furthermore, every year we try out a different sport. For instance, on my last visit, we went trekking on a nearby hill and had the time of our lives.
In spite of all this, I would not prefer to live there permanently as I perceive these things to be good for temporary merriment only. Although I do miss my sister, I perceive the Indian lifestyle to be a better choice as I have been born and brought up here, in Mumbai. Also, I cherish the colors, hustle-bustle, liveliness, and oneness that I feel with this city and my country India.
