WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

I have never been a very ambitious person ever, however, I have always dreamt of opening up a small restaurant one day. I am really fond of good food and never let go of any opportunity to try a new dish every now and then. In fact, my food fetish has turned me into an exceptional cook as I like to experiment with recipes and add my own individual touch.
Everyone who has tasted food made by me has always appreciated and encouraged me. Therefore it was only natural that I dreamt of turning my passion into my profession. Since the time I have decided to open up my restaurant, I have put in a lot of efforts to further train myself in different styles of cooking and enhancing my skills as a cook. I even went to Lucknow to learn about Mughlai delicacies which are my all-time favourite too.
I have also thought of an ideal location which is centrally located with ample parking space. However, there is a lot of planning which is yet to be done for instance choosing a catchy name to finalize the decor and listing the menu. Since this is my dream project, I want to be doubly sure that everything goes as planned.
This also requires a lot of funds to be arranged for which my family has promised to help me a little and the rest would be arranged through a bank loan. I am leaving no stone unturned to see that my restaurant opens up shortly and makes an impression for which I want to create some hype in the city by hiring some marketing professionals before its official opening.
My endeavour would be to ensure quality and taste at pocket-friendly prices which would definitely ensure loyal customers. I understand that this is an ambitious thought and would require a lot of efforts for it to turn into reality but I am determined to see my dream come true one day for which I am ready to work hard day and night.
