WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.
Describe a water sport that you would like to try in the future
- What is it
- Where you will do it
- Whether it is easy or difficult
- Why would you like to try it
Well, there are numerous water activities, such as surfing, water polo, paddleboard, windsurfing, swimming and so on, and from all of them, I would like to learn swimming. It is an exercise which is suitable for physically fit persons. Generally, this sport is prevalent at the international level, and everyone wants to learn about it. Luckily, in my home town, one large sports centre is provided by the local government. There are huge sports facilities available, as a football ground, table tennis and two swimming pools for kids and adults. In this sports centre, the local association also provides swimming trainers, and they give the best training to children and adults. So, I like to learn swimming there.
Moreover, the most challenging thing is, I do not have enough knowledge about it. So, I will take full training from a professional swimming trainer. Apart from these, there are some pieces of equipment which are necessary during the swimming such as swimsuit, goggles, bathing cap, hand paddles, gloves. I think it is a good exercise which makes my body durable, especially my arms and legs. So, this is the water sport; I would love to try in the future.
