Describe a fishing area that you visited once.

You should say:

• Where it is

• How you knew about it

• When and with whom you went there

• And explain how the overall experience was.

Sample Answer:

• Well, fishing is one of the recreational activities that many people do in their leisure time to relax themselves.
• Here, I would like to talk about a time when I visited a fishing area where I did fishing for the very first time.
• As I live in Punjab, there is not any perfect place for fishing.
• So, people visit hill stations and coastal areas to take part in this activity.
• Two years back, during the summer holidays, I went for a camping tour in Himachal Pradesh with my friend Mike and some other members.
•  After reaching our destination, we installed our tents near a river and had a bonfire as well.
• At the same time, a barbeque was also installed by the organizer to prepare the food.
• Then, everyone took their fishing rods and other essential things to go for fishing near the river.
• Many fishermen were already there installing their nets to catch fish for their business.
• As I had never done this before, it was quite difficult for me.
• I failed many times to catch the fish, whereas other people were easily catching fish.
• I must say, fishing requires a lot of patience and attempts, as it might take hours to catch just one fish.
• After learning some tricks from other members, I was able to catch two fish, which made me feel happy.
• We spent almost three hours there and it was a wonderful experience for me.
• Mike and I clicked many photos while fishing.
• So, that was the time when I got the opportunity to visit a fishing area.
