You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter:
- Say where you think you left the papers
- Explain why they are so important.
- Tell the manager what you want him/her to do.
Dear Manager,
I am writing to you in regard to locate some papers which I left in your hotel premises.
Last Saturday, a meeting was organised by Jindal Group. I was one of the attendees. I believe that I left a plastic folder containing some important papers in the waiting area. Because I sat there for a long time to wait for my cab to arrive.
These papers are quite important to me because, in these papers, I have placed my all bills, minutes of meeting and other official documents. I have to submit these documents to the manager by the end of this month, otherwise, I will be in big trouble.
I am sure that one of your staff members might have placed this folder of documents at a safe place. If you found the mentioned documents, I urge you to kindly courier these documents to me. I will bear the cost of the courier. My correspondence address has been enclosed with this letter.
I am looking forward to your reply soon.
Yours faithfully,
Mike Smith.
