I am writing to you to inform you regarding the wrong information provided in your weekly edition of ‘Travel with Us’ Magazine.
It was miserable the magazine showed museum is located in downtown, but it has been relocated six months back in the suburban area of the city due to a massive influx of tourists made downtown very congested during holiday periods. In addition to it, many new car parking places have been built in the city which is not mentioned in tour guide map provided in your magazine due to which many tourists are unaware of parking lots and often receive unauthorised parking tickets from local police officers.
Your authors of magazines are quite aware that Ludhiana is known for historical buildings and people from all around the world come here to see the architecture of buildings. ‘Travel with Us’ is a renowned booklet which tourists read before they come to explore Ludhiana city. Unintentional wrong information provided in the tour guide can result in loss of revenue to the city administration, and people may frustrate if they do not find the place mentioned in the brochure.
To avoid such instances in future, I recommend you to consult with local officials before releasing a new edition of the magazine to provide authentic information to tourists. Moreover, you must make a regular inspection to verify the locations mentioned in the tour guide.
