Today, most people get married and give birth in their thirties rather than when they are younger. Is this a positive or negative development?
Nowadays, many married couples prefer to have children after the age of 30, instead of in their twenties. This essay believes that this is a positive development because people have acquired enough funds to take their offsprings and in thirties, peoples’ intellectual level more developed.
Firstly, after the age of thirty most people become financially secure. This is due to the fact that during early days of career, people tend to work harder and save enough money for later use. This saving helps them to expend on their children’s career such as on education. For example, a recent study by IIM revealed that nearly 40% of people admitted that they had children after the age of 30, this enabled them to save good funds for future to take care of their offsprings.
Secondly, it is an important fact that when people grow older, they become muture and therefore, a good muturity level in thirties enables people to look after their children at utmost care. This would not be possible in twenties for them because it is difficult to focus simultaneously on professional career and taking care their babies. To illustrate, one of my friends had his children after 30’s and this enabled him to take some time to learn how take care of their children alongside with work.
In conclusion, having babies after 30 years age is a positive development because of enough savings they have for their children’s development and achieved higher level of understanding to look after their offsprings.
