Some people think that schools should involve students in school management.
Do you agree or disagree with this idea? Give reasons for your answer.
It is believed by many that school children should be involved in school administration. This essay completely disagrees with this viewpoint because school students are not mature enough to involve in management tasks and it can distract them from their studies.
The primary reason students should not incorporate in school administrative works is that they are immature. This is because pupils are not capable to make tough decisions and handle difficult situations. Therefore, if they are included in school management, they will not be able to perform their duties. For instance, it has been found in recent research by Cambridge University that 62% of school students who are involved in management talks were not able to perform their roles because of their age.
Another reason why pupils should not be incorporated in education administration is that it can be very distracting for their study. This is because if they involve in school administrative work, they cannot devote sufficient time to their subjects. This can result in them having poor grades in the exams. For example, I once took part in my school administration and I was not able to concentrate on my studies. Consequently, I got very few grades in that term.
In conclusion, it is not a good idea to incorporate school students in school administrative tasks because they are not fully developed and they cannot give time to their studies.
