Some people think that governments should ban dangerous sports, while others think people should have freedom to do any sports or activity.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Some would argue that states should make extreme sports such as sky diving, river rafting, and Formula One racing, as an illegal activity, while many of the opinion that individuals should have a right to choose any Pursuit they love. While some believe that these outdoor sports involved the risk of death or severe injuries, I believe many people participate in these games for pleasure, and they have a right to do so.
On the one hand, supporters of prior viewpoint contend that these extreme sports should make against the law because of the risk of severe injuries or even death involved in these sports. This is because a single mistake of participant or failure of any equipment can lead a person to death. For example, a recent study in India by the Times of India found that hundreds of people each year lose their lives by taking part in critical sports. However, I believe this mostly happens because of a lack of safety precautions.
On the other hand, advocates of later viewpoint opine that there should be full freedom to choose any activity in which they want to take part in. This is because many people love doing these sports that are considered risky because they do it for pleasure. Personally, I love Sky diving and take part in it whenever I pay a visit to any hill station. I believe putting a ban on these sports would be an attack on their freedom.
In conclusion, although these sports involve risk factor, I believe everyone should have a right to choose any activity that they love.
