Some people say that now we can see films on our phones or tablets there is no need to go to the cinema. Others say that to be fully enjoyed, films need to be seen in a cinema.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
It is argued that these days movies can be watched on smartphones, therefore, it is not required to go to movie theaters, while others say that it is necessary to go in a cinema for a full ejoyment. While watching movies on smart-devices save peoples’ time, I believe that movie theathers create a totally different atmosphere to enjoy a movie.
On the one hand, these days people have very little free time and to watch a movie in a theater require more than 4 hours. It is difficult for many people to take out this much of time from their busy schedule. Therefore, many prefer to watch movies on their phonesto save time using premium streaming services. For example, in a recent survey by Times Now found that 60% of people admitted that they mostly watch latest films on their smartphones because they cannot afford to take some time out from daily routine to go to the cinema.
On the other hand, watching movies in theathers provide a totally different experience because of the ambience of the cinema hall. There are no distractions from outside and this enables people to submerge themselves in the movie secenes. Thus, going to movie theaters to see movies provides a totally different experience where people can enjoy the performance of prominent artists. To illustrate, I prefer to go to cinema to watch movies because this enables me to fully enjoy movies and acting of prominent artists.
In conclusion, although it is convinent for many people to enjoy movies on their phones or tablets, I believe that watching films in cinemas provide an exceptional experience.
