In some areas of the US, a ‘curfew’ is imposed , in which teenagers are not allowed to be out of doors after a particular time at night unless they are accompanied by an adult.

In the Unites States of America, in many areas, a restriction has been imposed on young children for going out in the streets after a particular time; however, if they want to go out they must be with their guardians. This essay believes that this is a good initiative because this helps them to stay away from criminals and it also restricts them to get involved in illegal activities.
The main reason why imposing a curfew for children at night is a good step because most criminals are out in the streets at night. Children are most vulnerable and can be easily caught by smugglars who can kidnap them. Thevies can steal their valuable possession they have and can also hurt them. Therefore, a restriction of going out saves children from bad people. For example, the administration of California found that there has been a steep decline in the crime related to children after imposing a ban on children to go out after 10:00 PM.
Another reason for imposing a ban is a good initiative is that this restricts children to get involved into unethical activities. This is because smugglars take the advantage of children to transport their illegal items, such as drugs, and in return, they give them some money. If children get caught having banned items, this can ruin their whole life. To illusrtate, a news was published in New York Times that drug smugglars are extensively using children for the delivery of drugs to their customers especially at night.
In conclusion, banning teenagers to go out after a particular time is a brilliant idea because this keeps children away from criminals and this restriction deters them to go in illegal activities.
