WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.
Describe a famous person that you are interested in
- Who this person is
- How you know about this person
- What sort of life they had before they became famous
- How this person became famous
- And explain why you like this person
I admire many renowned people but I really like to Priyanka Chopra. She is one of the most successful Bollywood actresses. When she won the Miss World award, then she entered into an acting career in movies. I have heard from many people that she is a very humble and honest woman. Apart from acting mainstream career as acting, she is also a good singer and can sing in Hindi and English. Cople of years back, she appeared in Hollywood TV series called “Quantico”. She performed a lead role in this series. She believes in women empowerment and is a brand ambassador of Indian Government Scheme for women empowerment and UNICEF
Anyone can learn many lessons from her life that nothing is unachievable in this world. We need determination towards our goals to get them. Moreover, She is running her own foundation for women and children help.
In last, I would really love to meet Priyanka Chopra and interview her for learning about her struggle.
