Speaking Part 2 Cue Card
To begin with, the IELTS speaking test is divided into three parts.
- Part 1: Introductory questions
- Part 2: Cue Card
- Part 3: Follow-ups
In part 2, the candidate has to speak on the cue card. To prepare a given topic, the test taker is given 1 minute to do this. After this, The Candidate has to speak on a given topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. Most of the time, the examiner tells you when to stop speaking.
Most importantly Fluency and coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range and Accuracy, and Pronunciation are aspects on which the examiner scores the test taker.
