Question and Answers :
-
- When did you start learning math?
To recall, my first introduction with numbers happened during my pre-primary education. It just dealt with basic numbers and counting from 1-100. Subsequently, I started learning the arithmetic concepts on addition, subtraction, etc. in my primary education classes.
-
- Do you like math?
Oh, I love maths. I don’t intend to indulge in self-praise, but to be honest, I always secured excellent grades in Maths during my educational years. As a result, I love doing maths and that’s the reason I am contemplating a career in mathematics as a mathematician.
-
- Who taught you math?
Well, a lot of my acquaintances and teachers should be credited for that. However, two people prominent of them all are my grandfather and my secondary school math teacher Mr. Murlitharan. As my grandfather was excellent at doing maths, he had a great influence on me and Mr. Murli was my maths teacher for 3 consecutive years. So, both of them conclusively impacted my math skills.
-
- Who’s your favorite teacher so far?
In my opinion, every teacher plays a significant role in shaping a person’s life and career. Having said that, my favourite one would be Murlitharan sir. As I mentioned, earlier, he had a great impact on me during my educational years and has always been my favourite.
-
- Is math difficult for you to learn?
Um, it depends on the topic actually. As your interest in a particular topic of maths can prove to be quite detrimental in your ability to grasp the concepts. However, since I have always loved maths, I am mostly very smooth at it.
-
- Do you like to use a calculator?
Honestly, it depends on the situation. But customarily, I prefer doing mind calculations as they help to exercise our mind enhancing our speed of calculations and thinking ability.
