WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

Well, I like to experiment with new things and I like to challenge myself. Most of the things that I have purchased in the past, I usually get used to them quite easily.
Recently, I bought a smart bulb online from amazon. There was a huge discount offer on New year’s eve. I saw a 40% discount on electronic equipment. Thus, I want to give a try to a smart device.
This is not like a simple bulb in which we have to turn it on from the switch. In this case, an application needs to be installed in a smartphone and turn on the bulb switch all time. Turning on and off of the bulb can be done by the application. The bulb is connected to a wifi router which should be connected to the internet itself. The bulb can be turned on and off from any place around the world. The condition is that the devices must be connected to the internet.
When I installed this smart device at my home, I was having trouble connecting it to the router. Moreover, there were no clear instruction manuals which made it too difficult to set up. Then, I watched a few videos on YouTube on how to connect the smart bulb to the mobile application. After a struggle of one hour, I was able to set everything.
All in all, it was a great learning experience for me. I still use it and can turn on and off the bulb when I am in bed and outside my home.
