WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

Being a complete foodie, I have a knack for trying different cuisines and in a country as diverse as India, where the staple food and traditional dishes keep on changing in different regions, I must tell you, I am never disappointed.
It so happened that last month, a friend of mine returned to Mangaluru from Canada after completing his masters, so his father had invited me and 2 of my other friends to their home for a small get-together. Me being from Chandigarh was very excited to have authentic South Indian food at his home. We were already aware that his mother is an excellent cook which made me more eager to visit him. To my delight, she served us my favourite Masala Dosa. but I was startled at first as it was so big, that it seemed to require almost 3 people to complete one Dosa and I saw here preparing 5 more.
In contrast, on tasting it, I realised why she was making such big dosas and that she is the best cook indeed. They were lip-smacking and in no time we finished them all. She even served us, Mysore Pak, after that.
Although I have had masala dosas before, these were hands down the best. It was so good that I still remember the taste vividly and crave to have them again.
