- Well, there are many things in life which I have not learnt at school.

- Everyday I used to start my class at 6 pm.
- First of all, my instructor made me learn how to float on water for the first 3 days.

- After that, he taught me the basic leg and arm movements in water.
- This sport demands a high level of stamina.
- Therefore, I used to run for 15 minutes before entering into the pool to increase my stamina.
- Gradually I learned the simple techniques of swimming and then my instructor taught me butterfly strokes, underwater strokes and diving.
- It took me 2 months to get hold of all these techniques.
- At the end of the third month I was able to swim without the supervision of my instructor.
- I learned swimming because I always wanted to participate in the swimming competitions held at my college.
- And for the same, I had to learn it properly in order to get selected in the team.
- Moreover, I have had the temptation for swimming since my childhood but never got an opportunity to learn.
- I really felt a sense of accomplishment when I fully learned swimming techniques.
- I was so happy and excited that finally I did it.

According to me, usually children learn life skills from their parents, for example how to behave in society, how to manage their time and how to make decisions independently.

Undoubtedly, the way the children behave in society shows their upbringing by their parents. Moreover, children follow what they observe around them. So, if their parents are well-behaved, children go after them.
- Is it necessary for adults to learn new things?
Well, I would say that adults must keep on learning new things in life as by doing so they can stay mentally as well as socially active for a longer time. Besides this, when we learn a new thing that gives an internal satisfaction and happiness.
- What are the options for learning new things?
New things that can be learned: a new language, new computer programming skill, yoga, meditation techniques, dance, cooking and so on.
