WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

I love trying new sports. It always gives immense pleasure and excitement. Here I would like to talk about Scuba Diving. It is a water sport and mostly organised in coastal areas. In India, there are a few spots where people go to enjoy Scuba diving. I have discussed with my friends about doing this activity and they want to try this sport. I told them the exciting things that they can enjoy underwater. It is an extremely costly water sport. One has to book a hotel where this sport is carried and also hire a professional guide to us at the best locations. Renting the necessary equipment to do this sport is one of the important tasks. Hiring a private boat is very costly. In this sport, a person has to carry heavy equipment with them such as an oxygen cylinder. A single trip can cost as much as $2000 per person. But it would be a unique experience to see the natural beauty of ocean life and coral leaves. Swimming with fishes would be truly an unforgettable experience. So, Scuba diving is the sport that I would like to try in the near future.
