WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

Honestly, I am not a forgetful person as I tend to keep everything in my possession at the right place. Having said that, I too am a human and tend to forget things when I leave from home in haste or when I am stressed.
One such incident happened when I had to leave for Bengaluru to fulfill a work commitment. It so happened that I was supposed to leave home by 8 am to get onboard my train, but the schedule went haywire and I was at home till 5 past 8. As a result, I left home expeditiously oblivious to the fact that I forgot my train ticket at home.
The realisation happened, when I saw the TC arrive in the train to check the tickets. I panicked and didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know what to do. Although the ticket was booked online, it was done by my office management team and I didn’t want to approach them as that could probably tarnish my image. Luckily, I received a call from my work friend who had access to that account and she logged in and sent me a copy of the ticket via whats app. At last, I could save face due to my friend, otherwise the situation had really become troublesome and inconvenient due to my folly.
