WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.
Describe a successful small business that you know

- Where it is?
- Who runs the business/how do you know about this business?
- And explain why you think it is successful?
Well, I think it depends on the perception of people whether the business is small or big. There are many companies who started their work from a small apartment and now they are earning millions of dollars.
I believe opening a small fast food restaurant is well worth nowadays. One of my friends, Mike, opened a restaurant a couple of years back and is running it successfully. The main items they serve include burgers, doughnuts, different kinds of soups, French fries and so on. I have visited his restaurant many times and I love the unique taste of all things.
There are 10 people working in the restaurant and my friend Mike manages the staff and orders. There are 4 chefs, 4 waiters and 2 backend office managers. I met him after 5 years and he told me about his venture and I was very happy for him.
I think the main reason why opening a restaurant is becoming a huge success for many people is that more and more people are opting to eat fast food. Another fact is that people are so busy at work and they can hardly get some time to make food for themselves. Even though consuming fast food is not a healthy choice, its convenience is the primary benefit.
