WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

During our entire life span, there are many times when we need some kind of advice from the people who are superior to us or have more experience. I believe it is better to take advice from someone who has more knowledge than us. Rest it’s up to an individual to follow the given advice. After I completed my 10th standard, I was in a dilemma which subjects to choose from science or commerce. Although, I did not have much time because the classes were scheduled around the corner. It was time to take a hard decision. I was interested in both subjects, but don’t know what to do after choosing a subject. Therefore, my parents told me to consult with our neighbour’s son who was working in a multinational company and fortunately he was at home to spend vacations. I discussed with him about my situation. After asking some question from me, he advised me to take science stream in higher school and after that, I would have numerous options to opt engineering, doctor so on. I stuck to his advice, and passed 12th grade with flying colours and got admission in Computer Science Engineering. Currently, I am working in a web agency. I would say he gave the best advice and its indeed gave me the fruitful result.
