WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

- why do you want to meet him/ her
- why he/she is famous
- and explain what would you do if you meet him/ her.
There are so many people that I love and adore, but the one person I would like to meet someday is Mary Kom, who is playing as a boxer for India. I had heard about her from news channels about her victory in the Olympics. But I came to know more about her after I saw the movie Mary Kom in which Priyanka Chopra played the role of her. Mary Kom is born on 24th of November 1982 in a village of Manipur. She is a five-time world amateur boxing champion to have won a medal in each of the six World Championships moreover she is the only woman boxer to have for the 2012 Summer Olympics and winning the brozone medal. Mary Kom became the first Indian woman boxer to get a gold medal in Asian games in 2014. Apart from these in 2016 Mary Kom was nominated by the President of India as a member of Rajya Sabha. She is famous because she is the first boxer woman who won a gold medal for her country I wanted to meet her because she is a motivation for me and the journey of her life very much inspires me. If in future, I have a chance to meet her I would like to ask her about how she managed all the things in her life such as family and professional career.
