- Do you like animals?
Yes, I adore animals. In my view, they are one of the most beautiful and pious creations of God on the Earth. Besides, they hold great significance from the point of view of nature and our ecosystem.
- What’s your favourite animal? (Why?)
That would be a dog as it is one of the most loyal and loving animals out there. Also, it is regarded as an excellent companion and a man’s best friend.
- What’s your favourite wild animal? (Why?)
Um, my favourite wild animal would be the Lion. They look very regal and it’s truly an adventure being around one. Plus, the long manes around their necks are really a cherry on the cake.
- Are people in your country fond of animals?
Oh, definitely. People in India are very fond of and considerate towards animals and nature in particular. So much so that we worship each and every element of nature and many animals, even considering them as a member of our families.
- Do many people in your country keep animals at home (or, keep a pet)? OR Do people in your country like to raise animals?
Yes, the practice of keeping pets and raising animals has been prevalent in India since ages and is popular even now. People keep farm animals, cats, dogs, etc. as pets and care for them.
- What kinds of animals do people in your county (or, hometown) keep? OR What kinds of pets do people have in your hometown?
Actually, that depends on personal preferences. Having said that, the most popular choices are dogs, cats, birds, etc.
- Compared with the past, have there been any changes concerning pets in your country/hometown?
Yes, people are increasingly developing love and care for animals and are even willing to adopt some stray one’s to give them a better life and environment that fosters their growth and happiness.
- Do you think pets are important?
Absolutely. In my opinion, having pets leads to lots of mental health benefits for their owners. They are therapeutic and great stress busters. Moreover, they can help instil the qualities of kindness and compassion in children.
- Do you think cities are suitable places for keeping a pet?
Not really. They can be good for small pets like fishes in aquariums. But for big pets like cats, dogs or other animals, city climate is really not conducive to their suitable habitat and can adversely affect their physical and mental health.
