Sample 1:
Well, that’s a lot of nostalgia! I have been fortunate enough to have a very affectionate and caring family. I was privileged to have played with a lot of toys in my childhood, some of which were very expensive.
Nevertheless, one toy which is still very close to my heart is a giant teddy bear that was gifted to me by my father when I was all of 8 years of age. At that time, the teddy bear seemed to be even larger than me. As a matter of fact, it was a surprise gift for me on my 8th birthday and I was on cloud nine. I opened this gigantic box and out came a teddy bear in sky blue colour, my favourite colour. I was so happy that I started to fanatically show it to everybody present at the party, my friends, family and relatives.
Eventually, it became very close to me and I would comb it once in a while to keep the hairs from spoiling. Besides, I used to even sleep with it while cuddling. I used to keep it carefully in my cupboard, getting paranoid that someone should snatch it from me.
Life seemed to be incomplete without that toy and it still is. As silly as it sounds, I still have it in my cupboard and it is till date one of my most prized and cherished possessions.
Sample 2:
I used to love playing with toys in my childhood In fact I was so crazy about toys that I would request everyone to get me a toy rather than anything else. So it was a dream come true for me when my father gifted me an aeroplane for my birthday. I still remember that It was a remote-controlled battery-operated aeroplane and was black in colour. I instantly loved the gift and proudly showed it to all my friends. The aeroplane became my favourite possession immediately and I spent each and every minute of my spare time playing with it and admiring it. I became popular in my school and neighbourhood as everyone wanted to befriend me so they could get an opportunity to fly my aeroplane with me. I used to look at it with wonder when it took of from the ground and hover above me as I controlled it with the remote. In fact, I often used it to send little things to my family members and felt delighted doing it. It was just amazing how it smoothly took off from the ground and flew like an actual aeroplane. My love for my new toy surpassed my liking for other toys and for some time I actually forgot about my other toys. The only thing I could think of was flying my aeroplane and I would eagerly wait for the school to get over so I could reach home and fly it. I was so possessive about it that I would not allow anyone to touch it. I literally became obsessed with it and did not want to study or do anything else. It completely distracted me from other things as I started spending many hours each day playing with my aeroplane. It gave me so much joy and I could not thank my father enough who had gifted me my favourite toy.
Sample 3:
Toys are extremely precious for children. When I was a child, I also have a curiosity to buy new toys. Unfortunately, my family’s financial conditions didn’t allow to have numerous toys. Moreover, during my childhood there were limited options, unlike today kids have a lot of toys. I was quite possessive about my toys. My father on my 10th birthday gave me a toy train. He promised me to a few months back then. It was not a simple train with tracks and barrier. But it was a self-propelling one and the speed of train can be controlled from the wireless remote control. Even the brakes can be applied from remote. I have very special memories associated with the train, as I and my brother used to play with it for hours. Many times, when the train had some issues then my parents came to rescue to solve the technical problem. Therefore, I also helped me to build a special bond with my family. My friends from the neighborhood came to play with us. So, this toy developed a close relationship with many people.
