Dear Jake,
I am writing in regard to my inability to be a part of the team for the next few weeks. This is because I received a piece of bad news from home.
Yesterday, my mother called me on my phone that my father is severely ill. Therefore, I have to reach my hometown as soon as possible to look after my father. It is important for me to be with my father in this difficult time.
I am in love with football since my childhood, and I always dreamt of being a top-class player. Most importantly, playing with a partner like you is the best experience that I have. I hope the team will play at its best in the ongoing tournament.
I am hopeful that my father will recover within the next few weeks. When my father is fully recovered, I will be back on the football ground to play in the upcoming football league.
