WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

Well, there are a number of improvements done in the last few years in my city. The recent changes that I have seen include improvement in roads, water supply, and 24-hour electricity.
The one thing I really feel need to improve is the air quality. There is a huge industry in my city. These industrial units produce a huge amount of fumes and this is polluting air. Therefore, it is quite difficult for them to breathe in this polluted air and many people in the city are complaining about problems in breathing.
I am hopeful that if a large number of trees are grown then air pollution can be curbed. There are large open swathes where trees can be grown. Moreover, citizens should take the initiative to plant trees at home. This will have a significant impact on improving air pollution.
As far as I am concerned, I am really worried about the deteriorating conditions of the atmosphere. If authorities do not take the necessary steps to control the appalling condition of the environment, people will be forced to live in hazardous air. This is a very serious concern for the residents. Collective action is needed for it.
