WHAT IS A CUE CARD?
In the IELTS speaking test, the candidate is required to speak on a topic for about 1 to 2 minutes. The pattern of IELTS exam is designed to check the understanding level of English. The important thing to keep in mind that the topic given in IELTS speaking test cannot be changed. With the speaking topic, 3 to 4 cues are provided which helps candidates to answer the question to the point.

Animals are incredible creatures. I like all animals and the main reason for my affection towards animals is their unconditional love.
I like elephants the most. It is a huge animal 13 feet tall and weighs around 10,000 KG. It is the largest species living on the land.
When I was a child, I saw it in a circus. I was really surprised when I saw this monster animal and I became curious about learning about this animal. I watched a number of programs on television, particularly on the discovery channel. I have found that elephants are mainly found in Asia and African countries. They live in forests and hilly areas. Apart from this, I also read a number of articles on the internet about the interesting facts of elephants.
The most astonishing thing is that the traces of elephants have been found since the ice age. They have wrinkled skin which controls their body temperature. Their herd is led by a female leader and when a member of their herd dies, all elephants mourn like humans. Another interesting thing is that despite having a huge body they can walk noiselessly because of their spongy feet. They are social animals and obey the rules of their herd. This is an animal which I found really interesting.
