Some people think that schools should involve students in school management.
Do you agree or disagree with this idea? Give reasons for your answer.
Many people believe that pupils in academic institutions should be encouraged to participate in the administrative tasks of the schools. However, I disagree with this notion because extra curriculum activities affect the study of students, and the institution authorities are paid for teaching.
Firstly, the indulgence of students in managerial work hinders their academic work. This is because if students are persuaded to work, then they spend precious time in the office instead of learning. Thus, it can result in lower final term grades, which is not good for children’s future. For example, my friend during school time was helping administrative officials during the school time, and this habit resulted in the lower grades in the final exam. Moreover, the tiring work at the office can exhaust them quickly.
Secondly, the schools take hefty fees from students to teach. Therefore, the idea of taking official work during school time from pupils is often criticized by parents and society. Therefore, authorities of schools must focus on children’s academic achievements to help them to gain excellent grades. For instance, all private schools in India have a substantial monthly fee, and taking work from students is a ridiculous idea. Besides, mental fatigue can damage the cognitive skills of students.
In the epilogue, I believe that the inclusion of students in helping official tasks would adversely affect their studies, and parents pay to management for teaching at school. Therefore, it is predicted that school management will discard this idea to include children in the school administrative work.
