Greetings! This letter is exclusively written to express my interest in working as a volunteer in old peoples’ home. I am studying at Yorkshire University, and after class, I have plenty of time which I would like to spend with old people.
I read an advertisement on the notice board about your group. I would be obliged if you allow me to work in an old age home. It would be a matter of pride and honour for me embellishing with such an opportunity.
It is a fact that at the last stage of life people need help to look after themselves and during these times they need utmost care as they have contributed towards the society in their whole life. Therefore, it is a perfect time to pay them back by taking care of elderly people.
I would like to spend time with them so that they do not feel lonely and feel that people care about them. Also, I am a good story-teller and can engage people with stories so that they do not feel bored.
