You have recently left something on a train, write a letter to the manager of the Lost and Found department and specify:
– when you lost it,
– describe the object you have left,
– tell the manager what you want them to do with it.
Dear Manager,
Greetings! This letter is written to request you to assist me in finding my belongings which I forgot during when I was travelling back to Lakeshire from London on 18th October.
I was carrying the four bags, two back bags and two trolley bags. Three of them were placed below the seat and the other bag was in my lap. When I reached Lakeshire station, the train was quite crowded and I forgot to pick up a backpack placed under the seat and only realised this when reached home, and then, it was too late.
The bag is black in colour and it’s a medium-size having logo of Puma company. The bag contains my official documents, which I prepared during my stay in London. and also contains some clothes as well. Most importantly, my personal diary is in it.
I request you to kindly contact your employees if they found such a bag during the cleaning process. I hope you would take affirmative actions to find my back bag. Address of my residence has been enclosed with this letter.
Looking forward to your prompt reply.
Yours faithfully,
John Smith.
