- Explaining the situation, reasons why you cannot travel,

Dear Manager,
I am writing this letter to express my inability to take the flight from New Dehli to Toronto. It is not possible to board the flight on the scheduled date and time.
My name is Sam Curran. The flight number is ABX234 and it is scheduled to depart from New Delhi airport on 25th November 2020 at 11:00 PM. The receipt of payment and the copy of the ticket has been attached to this letter.
My father suddenly falls sick a few days ago, and he is not doing well and has been hospitalized. I am the only child of my parents and I have to shoulder the responsibility of them. Therefore, I want to stay with my parents until my father is discharged from hospital.
I request you to cancel my scheduled ticket. I will write another letter to inform you when it will be feasible for me to travel mentioning date and time. If this is not possible, kindly issue me a refund.
