Write a letter to a local newspaper editor, to inform him that article about city/town you know very well which contains some incorrect information
– write how you know that city
– what incorrect information article contains
– what they should do about that
Dear Sir/Madam,
Warm greetings! With much concern, this letter is to adduce that on last Sunday an article was published in “Sunday Times” edition on “Famous Places in London” contained some wrong information in your esteemed newspaper “The Times Now”.
Being born and raised in a prominent city London, almost every part of the city is explored by me. Recently, the article written provides misinformation to residents as well as tourists about downtown’s prominent restaurant ‘Barbeque Nation”. It was shifted to a new location in the same area a few months ago, and the visiting card has been enclosed contain the correct address. Moreover, historically significant museum of Sant Jose and Tiger Safari are not on the list. This is indispensable to include places which are worth visiting.
This is quite unfortunate that a prestigious newspaper made such a blunder. It is a humble request to republish the same article with corrections and a formal apology to residents. Otherwise, it would tarnish the image of your organisation.
I am hoping your kind consideration in this matter.
Warm regards,
Jake Smith.
