These days, numerous official meetings and training sessions are held on the internet. This essay will argue that despite there being some dangers of the dull environment in the meeting and training sessions, the benefit of the time-saving ability of this method far outweighs any drawback.
The main disadvantage of attending meetings and training online is that these are not interactive. This is because people have to sit in front of the screen and listen to the instructions of the host. This makes the whole meeting dull and boring. Therefore, attendees find it difficult to concentrate on. To illustrate, a recent survey conducted by Cambridge University found that nearly 20% of people who attended official sessions online admitted that they feel dull and boring discussing the agenda of the meeting online. However, people can interact in a meeting from the comfort of their location.
The primary advantage of the online medium of discussions and training is that it helps to save a lot of time. This is because people who have to attend a meeting or training do not need to commute long distances to reach the venue. Therefore, their travel time is saved and they can attend meetings or take lessons online from their convenient location. For example, I personally prefer to attend courses online because it saves time. Therefore, on saving some time, people can spend quality time with their loved ones.
