It has been seen that some individuals believe that a group study is a more efficient way of learning, however, others think that one-to-one study method is a much better choice to study. Although a single student and a teacher way of instruction can help a learner to focus on study, I believe that a group study technique brings more ideas in the classroom.
On the one hand, one-on-one study method enables learners to concentrate on their learning because they find it difficult when they are surrounded by other people. This instruction method allows them to be more open and confident to clear their queries. To illustrate, a recent study by Cambridge University found that nearly 20% of students in the United Kindom universities have opted for private one-on-one tuitions to get better results. However, I do not agree with this statement because of the reason elucidated below.
On the other hand, learning in a group brings multitudes of innovative ideas to discuss and implement. In this way, learning becomes much easier and funnier with other people as they share their thoughts and opinions. This helps to widen the horizon of learners. For example, I personally prefer to study in a group because this helps me to learn much easier and get better results. Therefore, I agree with this school of thought because this makes people more creative.
In conclusion, despite private teaching can help people to have better concentration on their study, I think that a group study helps to get numerous unique ideas in the classroom.
