Some people think that the best way to learn about business is to study a course at college or university. Others believe that there are other better ways to learn about business.

It is believed that learning about business at a college or university is the most appropriate method, however, others say that there are other better approaches to learn about business operations. While people learn tactics to operate a business at educational institutes, I believe that running a business alongside part-time education is the best way to learn about business.
On the one hand, individuals are able to learn the techniques and skills required to run a venture successfully at colleges or universities. This is because in-depth knowledge is provided by educators in the classroom about business operations. To illustrate, a recent study by Cambridge University found that people who graduated from college were 40% more likely to handle their business in a better way than who did not. However, I do not agree with this statement because of the reason elucidated below.
On the other hand, the best way to learn about business is by operating a company and study part-time. This will enable learners to analyse practical problems in the organisation and they can implement techniques learned in the classroom to overcome these issues. For example, a few years back, my friend opened a venture. He also started a part-time course in the business and he implemented techniques learned in the course to run his organisation in a better way. Therefore, I agree with this school of thought because the practical experience is the most important aspect of doing any kind of work.
In conclusion, although people can learn ways to run an organisation at colleges, I believe that another way to learn about business is to study part-time and work simultaneously.
