In our society, there is far more attention on men’s sport than women’s sport.
What are the reasons for this?
Do you think that this is positive or negative development?
In our community, more attention is given to male sports as compared to female sports. The main reason behind this attitude is that games played females are not exciting and I believe that this is a negative development because it is a fundamental right of everyone to have equal opportunities when a game competition is concerned.
The primary cause why many communities prefer to see more men’s games is that they feel that games played by women are not exciting to watch. This is because of an attitude that women cannot outperform men due to women are physically week, and their games do not give any excitement that they get from watching men’s sports. For example, a recent survey by the Times Now magazine found that nearly 40% of people admitted they did not enjoy watching women games because they did not put much effort while playing games.
I believe that this is a negative development because everyone has equal rights to show their talent and considerable attention should be given to female games so that they feel motivated when they play in the ground. This is because women proved their mettle in all spheres of life and if they are given equal attention, it is more likely that they can show their best performance to their spectators. To illustrate, Australian Women Cricket team won 4 world cups in a row and this was possible due to the local people gave equal attention to both men and women cricket team, which boosted their confidence to perform above par.
In conclusion, people think that watching women games are not fun at all, and this is a negative development as everyone holds equal rights to display their talent.
