It has been seen that many people have electronic gadgets at their home to work remotely. This essay will suggest that despite being some communication barriers during a project is the main drawback, working from home enables people to save time is the primary benefit.
The main problem associated with working remotely is that sometimes it becomes very difficult to coordinate about a project if a problem occurs. This is because companies which prefer remote working employees, they often live in different time zone. This can delay the delivery of the project, if problems occur regularly and wait until other employees to fix issues. For example, a recent study by Cambridge University found that nearly 30% of projects which were assigned to remote workers did not complete on time because it took a long time to fix issues during projects.
The primary advantage of working from home is that people save a lot of time. This is due to the fact that people do not need to get ready and travel to offices. This results in saving ample time and this extra time they can utilise to spend with their family or they can pursue their hobbies. To illustrate, I work as a web developer and whenever my company allows me to work from home, I can take out some time for jogging and in the evening, spend time with family. This is not feasible in regular days.
In conclusion, difficulty to deliver messages is the main issue with remote working, and I believe that remote work provides free time is the primary advantage of working from home.
