– Have a valid study permit when you apply for the work permit – Have completed a full-time program of study that is at least eight months long at a participating Canadian post-secondary institution. – Have maintained full-time student status in Canada and have completed and passed the program of study – Apply for the PGWP within 180 days of receiving written confirmation from your institution that you have met the requirements of your program of study – Have not previously been issued a PGWP or did not exceed the duration of the last PGWP
