The country has introduced a new plan to attract global talent, with their new measure including a newly created office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES). The Hong Kong government will introduce a new scheme for international professionals earning more than 2.5 million HKD annually and who have graduated from one of the top universities in the past three years. The country aims to enhance requirements under the Technological Talent Admissions Scheme by removing local employment quota requirements.

Indonesia has announced a new visa for wealthy foreigners as a way to attract more high-net worth individuals to their country. The second home visa is only available for 5 or 10 years to those who have at least 2 billion indonesian rupiahs in their bank account. The program is just for the capital of Indonesia, Bali. It goes into effect on December 25th.

Malaysia has announced that it will launch the digital nomad visa, following a trend that is becoming increasingly popular around the globe. This is the Digital Nomad Visa, which lets you enter Malaysia for a limited period of time and work from there remotely for clients outside the country. All applicants with an annual income of more than $24,000 per year are eligible to apply for the visa and stay in this country with their dependents.
