It is argued that important decisions in an organisation must be taken by managers, however, others disagree that it is a good approach if some workers are included in the decision-making process. Although employees working in management teams have studied how to perfectly make rules for a company, I believe that it is more worthy to take advice from workers in the most decision making cases.
On the one hand, managers are well educated in planning and implementing different types of decisions in a company. This is because they read numerous case studies before reaching any conclusion to implement any new rule. Therefore, managers should be only responsible for all rulings in the company. To illustrate, a recent study by Cambridge University found that companies in which decisions are taken by authorities are more likely to have a ruly staff. However, I do not agree with this statement because of the reason elucidated below.
On the other hand, the inclusion of staff members is an important step because they better know the issues being faced by them while working. This step can avoid any sort of resentment when new rules are implemented. For example, big companies, like Google, Microsoft, invite staff members to discuss the new policies being made to improve work ethics in the organisation and take their feedback. This makes staff more cooperative toward the organisation. Therefore, I agree with this school of thought because managers know only theoretical processes about implementing a rule.
In conclusion, despite the management team members have the education of decision making, I think that including staff members can help to better understand ground problems.
