It is argued that online courses are gaining popularity in the industry for training purposes. This essay will argue that despite being the difficulty in solving issues faced during the course, the benefit of flexibility of online training far outweighs any drawback.
The main disadvantage of getting online training is that it is not feasible to clear doubts instantly. This is because these courses are pre-recorded and if any learner faces any issue, they have to send a message to the tutor for a solution. As a result, they are stuck in the course until they get a response from the instructor about how to fix the issue. For example, a recent study by Cambridge University found that 40% of people who had received online training admitted that they faced issues in clearing their doubts.
The primary benefit of getting trained over the internet is that these courses are flexible in nature. This is to say that learners can choose any time, place and learning speed to complete the modules of a course. Therefore, they can get the best out of a course if there is no extra pressure on them to complete the course in a given timeframe. To illustrate, my employer provided me with a course on React framework and told me to learn it. I completed this course in 60 days while performing my daily duties and I learned all modules in-detail.
In conclusion, the flexible nature of online training far outweighs any supposed disadvantage of difficulty in solving issues during the course.
