Inform the bank manager in a letter about the fact that you cannot go to an agreed meeting.
You should cover the following:
– inform and apologize
– describe the reason for your absence,
– propose new time
I am writing in regard to a meeting about to discuss loan requirements that we have finalised a few weeks ago.
The meeting was scheduled for 10th March,11:00 AM at Park Plaza. Unfortunately, it would not be feasible for me to attend this meeting due to the wedding of my cousin. I apologise for this incontinence.
Yesterday, I received an invitation card for my cousin’s wedding. His wedding ceremony falls on the same day on which meeting was finalised. It is not possible for me to skip this event because, apart from the cousin relationship, we have a strong bonding since our childhood.
I will be back at home on 13th March and after a couple of days, I will be ready to attend the meeting. Kindly reschedule the meeting for 16th March at the same venue and time.
